We went into Vietnam becuase the French asked for help. The French were getting owned (hence their modern saying "make love not war") trying to keep their 3rd world country and was losing control.

We helped you in many different ways without actually fighting. We gave you guys ammunition, weapons, planes, tanks, and ships to help fight before we entered the war. Our ships giving you stuff were getting sunk by German U-boats so we got involved in Germany and fought them. We(allies) defeated the Germans before Pearl Harbor even happened. The Japanese Emperor Hirohito saw that his side was loosing and wanted to try a last ditch effort to win the war. He bombed Pearl Harbor and we waged war against Japan. Without our help you would be Germany today.

The Vietnamese had guerilla tactics that are hard to defend against. It isnt one side in a field is the Vietnamese and the other side is the US..they would get owned. They hid in trees and knew their ways around the jungle. They would shoot at us in the trees and hide. They had a much bigger force than we did. All those "planes bombs and artillery" was useless in the Vietnam war. You didnt know where to call it in. They were in random trees and the jungle was endless. Many Americans got sick becuase of the diseases over there and the gooks would be civilians by day and guerillas by night. The Germans had buildings. Not jungles. We can call artilerry on specific buildings, call attack helos in becuase they can see them walking in the street. You cannot see the vietcong under the trees and take too much risk of friendly fire by calling arty.

Pearl Harbour was bombed in 1941, Hitler Killed himself in 1945 when he knew he was defeated. If we defeated the Germans in 1941, how come the war lasted for another 4 years? The Battle of Berlin marked the end of the war, the Russians fought that and won, bringing an end to Hitlers Reich. The battle was fought April - May 1945, so the Germans were not defeated in 1941.

Well, if you plan to go to war in a jungle, why not train for jungle warfare before, or just not go to war? Unless you are fighting in you own country, the chances that you know your way around the country/ place you are fighting are slim, no matter whether its a jungle or Afghanistan.

We have free health care because we pay for it in our taxes. Even then, the service you receive is shit. Viruses in hospitals, improper cleaning and so on. Our country might have a high GDP/GDI but the government doesnt like to spend the money. My town is a shit hole. There is nothing to do, no cinema, no ice rink only 1 small bowling ally. Then when the government decide to give some money to build something, it takes ****ing years to build. You call the police, they turned up a week later when the thing you wanted them for is no longer a problem. You get attacked in the streets, phone the police, they come a week later. Then they do **** all about it. Someone murders someone, they get like 3 years in prison. A prison that has TV's, pool tables, just overall luxury (besides the inmates). Someone killed 2 little girls, he goes into his own cell with a ****ing gym. A gym for a child killer? Thats how well the money is spent.
the government instead use tax payers money to pay for the items with the expenses. They pay thousands of pounds for baths, fire places even a ****ing plug. The Taxes we pay are not used as well as they could be, by a long shot.
