(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I am not sure if anyone here remembers when I had been flagged for downloading illegal movies by the MPAA and Time Warner Cable.

Just today, my internet was shutdown again with the claim this was the 3rd notice (btw they never gave a second one), and the last one came with an email (btw there was never an email). They made the claim that I had still not deleted the movies from my computer. This was true, but I had deleted the files from Vuze so they were no longer seeding. To comply I deleted both movies and out of a request uninstalled Vuze.

I thought this was false of how they knew this as they claimed they looked inside my computer, which I consider an invasion of privacy and illegal. As I pondered this I went to my doctor and he told me that he received an email from the MPAA asking for the release of his information (which by law he can't release without my approval). Now I was shocked. Not only did they look onto my computer, not just monitor the internet, but they actually went on, somehow found out my insurance and name, then proceeded to find out if I went to a Doctor, then to email him on the issue.

I was telling my parents that there is no way what they did was legal. If anyone here can help me by showing me some acts and bills preventing these kinds of actions would be greatly appreciated.

BTW The MPAA was considering persecuting me and charging my father with $250,000. I thought this was BS. There was no second warning. I wasn't seeding. And they don't have the right to look onto my computer.

I literally download like 200gb of games and movies a month on AT&T. I haven't gotten one notice AT ALL.

Oh I am looking forward to it. We switch in a month. I'm fed up with TWC now.

They only gave one previous notice. They never sent an email. They didn't follow procedure. And they broke the law. They don't have the right to make me delete my bittorrent downloader. It isn't illegal -__-

I wouldn't think too much about the doctor, just the thought that They could do something like that. Put together some proof, get a good lawyer = Profit?

I don't want to get involved to heavily. I just want them to lay the **** off. If they aren't following procedure, and break the law it means they better get off.

The fact they want to prosecute me because of one D*** movie, is just complete b***s****

Don't worry. The posts before me pretty much mean that they cant do anything. I live in Canada, Canadians here are very easy when it comes to downloading torrents. Most ISP's don't give a hoot unless you make a big deal of it and show it off in their face. There are also 3rd party ISP's that give you like 6mb a sec with unlimited bandwidth for literally $29.99.

Anyways, I would write them an email about all the inormation you have and honestly tell them to F$&@ off. They try to scare you, scare them back. They can't really do too much.
