(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi,

Well i'm 16 and in December i'll be 17, and i'm planning on going for my test straight away. I'm planning to get a scrapper for the first few months until March, when here in the UK the new letter (61) comes out.

My budget is at the most pushed at £40,000 (around $64,500). I've been thinking maybe a You must login or register to view this content., a You must login or register to view this content., or a You must login or register to view this content..

What are your thoughts on these or do you know any other cars in that price range, new or second-hand?.

Your biggest problem won't be buying a car like that, but insuring the thing. If you want either of those cars, seriously check up on the insurance first.

Just because a car isn't flash doesn't mean it's bad, you've got an extremely stereotypical view. Did it ever occur to you that the car he might get is three years of salary for some people?

If his daddy can afford an outrageous car for a first time driver, he can afford insuring it. Gaspkay:

Very true :p, I wouldn't be surprised if it costed more than the car itself though Happy
