(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So, today, I'm home from college to get my wisdom teeth out. Hooray.

Everyone said "it's so painful" and, "You're going to have
chipmunk cheeks". Well, I say F**k it.
I'm telling the oral surgeon I don't want any sedation.
I want to be fully conscious and in fact I'm drinking 5 Red Bulls before I go
and I'm eating at least 10 Pixie Sticks and blasting dubstep through my iPod to stay pumped up. And after, I don't even want any painkillers.
F**k Vicodin. I don't need that shit. I'm a ******* man!

Yeah, I'm lying out my ass right now.
I'm actually quite nervous because I don't like the dentist. Then again who does?
I don't know what to expect, and the thought that
I'll be sedated and asleep while someone is digging around in my mouth
pulling out teeth is a little creepy to me. It brings memories back of
when I watched The Human Centipede.
I just want this to be over with.

As one can see, I'm totally thrilled after having my teeth ripped out of my face.

I had them out. Honestly afterwords you're sore as a mother ****er.

I have trypanophobia (fear of hyperdermic needles [shots, Ivs etc]) so the worst part for me was the IV. It was the first one I have ever had in my entire life (that I can remember, Infancy I'm not counting) and I had a huge ****ing panic attack and drew and locked my arms up and clamped my mouth shut. Basically primal instinct took over and I did everything in my power to protect myself. They forced my arms down, got the IV in (which felt like a really really really bad pinch) and then as I opened my mouth they went to place a bite block (so your mouth doesn't close on their hands/tools) I tired refusing it, but then I remember blackness. I passed out. Then I woke up and it was over.

The painkillers are legit. No school *(I was 17/18 when this happened, I'm 19 now)* for about a week and a half, and LIGHT duty at work (if you lift heavy stuff, you'll bust your stitches in your mouth open and yeah..it's not good, they'l give you a doctors note for extremely light duty for work, just ask them if you need one), and yeah. Soft foods are your friend, and slurpees are ****ing bitchin. You'll want to marry a ****ing slurpee machine afterwords.

That's my experience. All of which is 100% true. I wish you luck my friend. Try not to be nervous. If you're extremely nervous, you can get some Xanax to help you relax. My dentists and rents (I ****ing hate my step dad...****ing cop douche) refused Xanax for me. So yeah.

Thanks bro :y:
My parents got me a lot of soft foods haha
Right now my best friends are ice cream and jello. God I love jello :carling:
and surprisingly, they didn't give me stitches. It's just 4 big holes in my mouth as if
my teeth fell out when I was younger. Feels really wierd though.
And for the sedation, it literally worked in like 20 seconds from when he put it in. It was crazy lol
I literally felt like I closed my eyes then woke up 5 seconds later with the gauze in my mouth. I remember I was seeing double of everything in front of me. Freaky stuff ha

yeah im on day 2 now. Nothing really hurts because im just laying down relaxing and trying not to open my mouth too much. But, i have to put 2 bags of frozen peas on my face occasionally to keep the swelling down lol

I remember on Day 1, friends were making me laugh and it was hurting a lot, plus my laughs sounded like zombie laugh (assuming zombies can laugh lol)

Welcome bud. Just follow the doctors POST OP directions CAREFULLY to avoid a condition called Dry Socket. You'll be fine. Video games will help to pass the time. I'd just lay off the mic, least I did for the first few days.

Yeah I heard about that. And I'm just playing. I generally hate everyone I play with cause they're voices make my ears bleed but its just me and my couch for a couple days. Then back off to college No

You don't have to, but its really beneficial because they can become impacted and push your teeth. If you have straight teeth then there's a risk to not getting them out because it can easily make your teeth crooked. Not to mention the pain that comes along with it. It's best to just have them taken out as soon as you can because the pain isn't that bad to be honest. My mouth isn't really sore right now.
