So the 2012 Phenomenon is coming. With that event just under a year away, it's probably time for you to start thinking about getting rid of some of your worldly possessions that you won't be needing when the Earth and you are dead and gone. Sure, you could sell it and make a nice profit. But what's the point? I highly doubt they take USD in the afterlife. That's where I come in. I have a plan to put some use to other peoples' stuff during this final year of humanity. If you've got some stuff that you want to get rid of, I'd be happy to take it off your hands for you. Who knows. Maybe you've got some sins that you'd like to repent so you get in good with the man upstairs? What better way to repent than by donating materialistic possessions to someone who will put them to good use? Think about it...

What do I mean by putting these things to a "good use"? Well, a number of things; Giving them to the needy, donating them to the homeless, donating them to museums, enjoying them for myself, etc etc..

Exactly, when it ends, it ends. Why worry yourself about the date, just live your life and when the end does come, you wont have regrets. And back to the OP, I really should do this too, its quite a great idea.

Yeah I'm positive other people have done this for pretty much every end of the world scenario since the beginning of time.. I in no way make any claim that this is an original idea.
