No, this is just another 2000 repeat, people get worried and scared, but then nothing happeneds. The world isn't going to end for thousands/millions of years.

No nothing will happen you know why they say that the worlds going to end at 2012 because that's when the Maya civilization of pre-Columbian Mesoamerica ended the calendar for those of you that do not know the Maya civilization were the first people to invent the calendar .. Now guess what year they ended the calendar at .. 2012 Know maybe just got tired of writing dates or making calendars... ? because they knew they were not going to survive anyway ... That is just my opinion lol

i dont but i do believe in the asteroid "Nibiru" that will hit us in 2012 21st 12th month which if the asteriod does enter our atmosphere the gravitational pull will cause our poles to shift eg. the north pole to shift to the equator vice versa for the south pole. If this does happen the world will end due to;-

1.Major Earthquakes and Volcanic Eruptions-yellowstone
2.Hurricanes-100x's worse than katrina
3.Food Shortages

That's absolute fail. There IS an asteroid called Apophis that will pass close to the earth in 2012 (friday the 13th actually), but it will NOT impact the earth, and it is far too small to cause any of the the things you listed. In fact, I'm not even sure that ANY sized asteroid would cause such events.

Nibiru (even though it isn't real) isn't even supposed to be an asteroid - it's supposed to be the dead binary twin of the sun: a neutron star. Even if the laws of physics allowed for such a star to exist near the sun and NOT cause the planets to completely fall out of orbit (which they don't), neutron stars emit high intensity gamma radiation that would never have allowed life to develop on earth.
