Like most of you guys said. No, it won't happen. More than likely this is just another chicken little story. the only reason that the world is supposed to end is because
12/12/2012 is the date that the Myan calendar stops and the day that the earth will tilt on its axis. The Earth has tilted on its axis every so millions of years and the world hasn't ended yet. As for the Myan calendar... The myan civilization was a very thriving civilization and it all of a sudden disappeared from the face of the Earth for reasons that we can not explain. I beleive that they didn't finish it because they dissapeared long before they could finish their calendar. And that's how you can explain it logically.

sincerely,

LOL! That is probably all they got to when the Spaniards came from the "Old World" and burned all of their records!! Lol, you can't really guess the end of the world. There will be Trials and Tribulations according to the Bible before the worlds end and the world ends for Jesus Believers when Rapture happens!

In fact, I'm not even sure that ANY sized asteroid would cause such events.

Nibiru (even though it isn't real) isn't even supposed to be an asteroid - it's supposed to be the dead binary twin of the sun: a neutron star. Even if the laws of physics allowed for such a star to exist near the sun and NOT cause the planets to completely fall out of orbit (which they don't), neutron stars emit high intensity gamma radiation that would never have allowed life to develop on earth.

Thanks for the facts

While I do not believe your theories on religion (everyone's got their own shit you know what I mean) you have some of the most educated answers when it comes to debates and real facts. I always look forward to reading your responses when it comes to the facts, it is usually dead on I appreciate the smartness Winky Winky

If this does happen the world will end due to;-

1.Major Earthquakes and Volcanic Eruptions-yellowstone
2.Hurricanes-100x's worse than katrina
3.Food Shortages

rep me for my answer

1.Do not copy of google
2. and don't pretend you're smart
3. Dont ask for rep when you just Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V
5. Remember that you always fail if you Copy :p

Well in 2004 a Asteroid came within 45,000km with earth. It passed close but didnt impact. And i cant really see something like happening again at 2012. But scientists say that the Earth has lived 95% of its life.. But to be honest i think its a load of Bull.

Well then they are some pretty dumb scientists, because the earth will be around until the sun dies, and the sun is about halfway through it's life.
