I really hope that you weren't influenced by watching TV shows etc, if you were, you have no idea what it's like.
TV Shows are far from the truth. I've been taking classes on the field, I have a teacher who I've known for a couple of years who has been helping me out getting into the right direction who was a law officer for 14 years. (He had to retire because when he went to jump a fence during a pursuit he dropped to the ground wrong and busted his knee retiring him).
I've done my research on the whole subject and trust me mate, it is something I want to do. There is a ton of paperwork involved with it. I just got done competing in a tournament of 12 different schools, 200+ kids in Criminal Justice courses. Essentially, we had to get information, compile and write out warrant for arrest and have a real DA approve it. Took a shit ton of time to do and in the end I numbered 11 out of everyone, the difference between me and to 4th was literally 10 pts. (1 question I forgot to ask).
Anyways, I went off topic but yea, It is something I really wish to do. The whole CSI, SVU is far from real, Dramas are what they are.
