Respect my authoritah!!
The only true opponents to gay marriage are religious people, and people too uneducated to care. The reality is that homosexuality is something that occurs in thousands of species - 8% of adult male sheep are exclusively homosexual. It's stupid that we even have to vote on whether or not gay marriage should be allowed, it's not an issue the public should decide on. It's an issue of human rights.

Our generation looks back at slavery and wonders how America could've let that happen. I hope the next generation look back at the outlawing of gay marriage and wonders how we let that happen.

I believe that you should have the choice of gay marriage if you wish. It is not like it is harming anyone in any way shape or form.
Its a personal choice, and thats how it should be. in my opinion.

Well I really don't care what gays do in their private space and time, but what I do care is what some do to other non gays. Take my friend for example, when I was around 14 There was this gay boy in my year, he had a crush on my friend which was straight. He admitted it to everyone that he liked my friend and constantly tried to get along with him (flirting, talking, etc) nobody included my friend talked to him at all apart from the girls, because he was gay. My friend because of the gay guy was constantly harassed by other people because of this guy, since he told everyone. If the gay guy just told my friend in person then it wouldn't of went out of hand. If gay people want to find their 'partners' then they should at least look for other gays and not try to change straight people into gays. I'm not afraid to admit that I'm homophobic because of my upbringing (parents, neighborhood, etc) but I don't mind what gays do behind closed doors. If I see a gay couple kiss on the park bench for example then I would be disgusted, however I wouldn't comment on about it. Thats just how I feel of gays through my own personal experience. Smile

That's a problem with that one individual, not all homosexuals. There are just as many creepy heterosexuals(and everything in between) who completely miss the point.

Also, disgusted by two guys/girls kissing; why?

I actually don't know lol, it's probably because of the way I've been bought up, everyone I know and family members are all against gays. I do not know if this is because of religious or personal reasons, but I'm not religious at all so for me finding it disgusting I would suggest that it's my up bringing. I'm sorry but I will forever remain homophobic because of what I have seen and heard from peers. I hope you understand and try not to take it to heart or anything lol. I'm not completely against gays, so I'm open minded sort of. Like I don't mind if they get married or what they do in their private business. But I do not like being near them, talking to them, I just don't feel really comfortable around them. Who knows, as I grow up, and start becoming an adult, I may adapt to homosexuals, but for now I will remain homophobic.
