Okay, don't get me wrong, I think being gay is weird, and fucked up to be honest, but my uncles gay, so I believe in gay marriage so he will be happy with a man in his life. I don't want to "argue" with anyone, that's just my viewpoint on it.

No, being gay is not weird, nor is it fucked up. You probably just don't like the idea of it yourself because you're heterosexual(or something else...), but it's important not to convolute the way in which you say that.

Or, if you really do find the act of homosexuality weird and/or fucked up, explain how. If you can't back up your feelings that's a pretty good indicator that there's no rational basis for them to begin with.

This section is for intellectual discussion/debating. It isn't one of those old poll threads where you just spout your opinion and leave. If you don't want replying to just don't post.

if two people of the same sex love each other i don't see any reason to prevent their marriage.

a completely different argument comes once they talk about having a child...

You can't make such a bigoted, ignorant and stupid assertion like that here without backing it up. Anxiously awaiting your reply.

sorry guys...

nothing against omosexual people...

but i've worked for a laic organization (called THE GAMES) for making children play in the afternoons and i've been extremely shoked how children can be evil.
let me explain:
one of these children was adopted by a couple of gay men...
they were the most "delicious" people i've ever met but almost every children was teasing this poor boy telling him he had "two dads and no mums"...
he confessed me he had the same problem at school and he decided not to come to the games any more.

i am absolutely sure that omosexual people can grow their children as well as (if not better than) heterosexuals, but i am equally sure that these children will suffer ther "anomalous" situation due to the teasing of their friends.

adults like us can understand "difference" but children can't.
for children "different" means "teasing subject"...

omosexuals with children is not wrong at all if you consider it "as it is"...
but if you consider the reaction of the society you must take into account the child feelings...

to me, people that pretend to have a child ignoring the possible suffers that could be given to the child, should not have children at all...

edit: regarding to my use of "argument", it's my fault (driven by my native language, italian) and it's real meaning of a sentence like "completely different argument"...
it can be better translated in "completely different reasoning"

I understand what your saying, but how is that different than interracial relationships in the past?
