Post: PS3 or Xbox?

Basically, I have $250 and no idea what game console to buy...
I want to get a PS3 because the majority of my friends have that, but, I also want to get an Xbox because of the variety of good Games it has (Halo etc)
BUT I have no idea which one I should get...
So what I want is some help deciding on what one to get...

I will keep my mind unchanged until July 11th 2012 when I will pick the one with Most Votes and purchase that console

Incorrect, PS3 is backwards compatible. I can play ps2 games all the time. You don not have to use microsoft points to buy things on the xbox360. Furthermore, buy what you want, it doesnt really matter what we think. Also, the xbox 360 is also wireless.
