Look clean, well groomed, dress nice. Eye-contact, firm handshake, firm tone of voice. Do not fidget or play with your hands, pants or the chair. Being yourself doesn't cut it for job interviews. You have to give the impression that you're an intelligent, command following, robot that is independent and will do what is told of them.
Anyways, dress well, look fresh and most importantly SMILE during the whole thing!!! Don't stutter, don't fidget (aka tap your leg or play with your hands like I did in my first interview), don't be an idiot (aka don't say something stupid), and just be cool and calm. There's no need to be nervous (or upset for that matter).
Also, make a resume and print it at a local FedEx Kinkos with resume paper. The manager won't look at the resume in terms of what you actually did, but the fact that you took the initiative to actually make a decent looking one. (srsly this really increases your chances.) Put anything on the resume ranging from volunteer hours, to any sports teams you've played on, to any awards you've won (honor roll, etc.)

well i find that being myself makes me more comfortable, happy, etc.. so that's why it helps
