Sure, we want to know if it can run Unreal Engine 4, or even the Luminos engine from Square Enix… but since those engines are not due for release for at least another year or two, the only question we can truly answer right now is what can the Wii U do that the other consoles can’t. Sure we know about the tricks the controller has up it’s sleeve, but we really want to see raw power comparisons. Not seeing the differences? Maybe you need some glasses than. The draw distance is greatly improved - it’s well beyond what the PS3 is capable of. In addition, things are much more detailed, and there is a lot more going on in the Wii U shot than in the PS3 shot. Also, the blur movement effect blends things much better in the Wii U version than the PS3, where things that truly shouldn’t be as detailed no longer are, making it fit better in the shot and less distracting.

This is the first real sign we have seen that the Wii U is “significantly” more powerful than the competing consoles of this generation. How much more fidelity it has than we are shown here isn’t known, but the true power of the console is rarely tapped into out the gate. That means that the Wii U can do so much more than this. Remember, this is also just 720p resolution, and the Wii U is capable of 1080p. So while this is certainly impressive in terms of comparing the versions of games and seeing the actual improvements , it’s even more impressive knowing the Wii U can do so much more.

What I'm saying is that the Ps3 is a current generation console. The Wii U is classified as a "Next Gen Console"

So they are comparing old technology to new technology, and they are saying that the Wii U is going to be more powerful then Next Gen Consoles.

That implies that the Wii U will be more powerful than the "Ps4" / 720.

Ok, now I understand. Yes the words are a mix up. But as Of now no PS4 or 720 has'nt been announced so Wii U will be the most powerful console on sale. Until PS4 or 720 is announced

I can't believe this the Will U gonna be faster then NextGen console's & I would just throw the wii u because its so light in my hand's If do buy it hope I don't go rage on it ;o. If its more powerful would this cost more to buy then ps4 or xbox 720?

I find this hard to believe since the wii u is just a bit more powerful than current gen consoles, also linking to the source is always preferred

Also, it should be more powerful if it's new gen. Although I do have promise for it.

Ps3 = blu-ray

Bluray> cd or any type of disk, dvd, so unless the wii u has something better than bluray it will happen

That feel when a good computer could still blow all of these Current gen and Next gen consoles of of the water. All these consolse have like 5 year old graphics cards in them.
