I believe guns are amazing devices as they save lives everyday. I strongly believe that guns shouldn't ever become illegal, as there are millions of people who own guns and take care of them responsibly. Occasionally we have bad people that do bad things; especially with the Colorado shootings that happened on 20/4/12 but I do not believe others should have to lose their rights because of some thing some psychopath did. Guns do not have a mind of their own, if you told a gun to kill someone/thing it obviously wouldn't do it, its people that are bad; not the guns. I believe that guns are great tools, for protection, defense, and many other things. I hope that guns aren't ever illegal, as then you're defenseless and just a "bitch" per say. I could get all political on you guys, but thats not what my intentions are in this thread. So saying that, what do you guys think.\

What people fail to realize is that having less gun control is going to make everybody safer. If there had been 1 or 2 people that were open carrying a firearm in that movie theater in Colorado, there would have been less casualties. Granted, the guy was wearing body armor, but still having someone fire back is going to be enough to stop most people.

I don't have a problem with guns even though I do not own one. Its all just politics. If someone wants to own a gun then so be it.

From the posts I read most of you guys seem like knowledgeable people. So how is it that guns are put down so much, aside from the liberal media putting them down.

Guns are weapons for cowards. Doesn't take much courage to threaten or injure someone from 20ft away by using your index finger.

Guns should had been illegal from the beginning, it would have saved more than thousands of lives who die because of the violence, not too long ago 15 year old boy/s got shot in a subway after cutting school, can you imagine being that age and someone pointing at you with a gun, the are tons of stories of shootings and killing of innocent people related with guns, these things happen like monthly, but it's too late now, with so many people with it on their possession, making it illegal would make self defense in a shooting catastrophe impossible.

I say that al least every family or household should have a gun becuase It's not even safe in our homes anymore. If some ppl would think logically more than pulling a trigger for being insulted then there may be less shootings in the world.. My thoughts!!
