I once almost died, well not I'm not exactly sure.

I'm hard of hearing and sometimes I use hearing aid device to help me hear things a bit. One day after school, I got off transits bus, and walked cross streets. As I got over there, I had to cross again other streets and it's pretty big street. But there was few cars. Anyway, I waited for the light to turn green and it did so, there was a man next to me.

I didn't have my hearing aid on that time so I couldn't hear anything.

As usual, I'd start crossing the street but then I saw the cars weren't moving and I wondered. But I started to cross street, man next to me quickly grabbed me and pulled back. I gasped and asked why? He nodded in other direction and I saw 2 polices and an ambulance speeding with their sirens on. They were speeding that they could not stop in time if I actually crossed crosswalk. I sighed in relieve and thanked him.

From now on, I always look both direction before I cross crosswalk even when the light is green.

ALSO, the other one was when I almost slipped in train railway (Sky train) If you fell in it, you'll die immediately because of the shocks. But luckily, there was handlebar next to me and I quickly grabbed it.

the seatbelt thing didn't secure me (because i was to small) i was hanging on for my life.

In my town and Im sure in every town peds crossing the highway have the right of way. Well anyway one day when I got off of work I was walking and had to cross the highway. And as no cars were coming one way and some coming the oppisite direction, aways on down the highway. So I started crossing and as everyone saw me crossing in the left lane. As I started crossing the last half of the highway a person in the right lane came speeding by and If I had not stepped back quickly I would have gotten ran over.
Goes to show no one gives any regards to others. It has also happend more than once. people are so stupid sometimes

Interesting thread. I almost died once when I was like 10. I lost a lot of fluid by vomiting it up. I was in intensive care at a near by Hospital, until I got better of course. I remember having this tube going out of my arm to bring in more fluid or something. Probably the most scariest moment of my life. I thought I was going to die and I was right according to the Doctors.

When I was 13, I was driving to fast on a dirt road and hit a curve going about 60 mph. The car flipped over three times and threw me out the window. By the grace of God I only had a few scrapes and bruishes but I was scared to death!!

I never almost died physically.. But if you can understand, I did die mentally, and was reborn a new person.

I was born 3 months early and i was 2lbs. 9oz. I was supposed to have a little brother named Lance but he died when he was born. Same story he was born early. And to this day people are amazed that i am one of the strongest athletic kids in my class. And that i have zero health defects.

I sometimes get pain in my chest almost like heartpain, once i even need go to hospital they give me a medicin like painkiller and pain stoped but to today they don't know what cause this pain.

One night, i drank way to much vodka. Ended up having to go hospital for 48 hrs after passing out. Ended up i had Alcohol Poisoning, liver failure and had to have my stomach pumped twice. After being passed out for over 24 hrs i couldn't remember leaving my house, going out, or anything! They told me that if i wasn't rushed to hospital i could of died. Learn from others mistakes kids, drink a sensible amount!
