I once almost died, well not I'm not exactly sure.

I'm hard of hearing and sometimes I use hearing aid device to help me hear things a bit. One day after school, I got off transits bus, and walked cross streets. As I got over there, I had to cross again other streets and it's pretty big street. But there was few cars. Anyway, I waited for the light to turn green and it did so, there was a man next to me.

I didn't have my hearing aid on that time so I couldn't hear anything.

As usual, I'd start crossing the street but then I saw the cars weren't moving and I wondered. But I started to cross street, man next to me quickly grabbed me and pulled back. I gasped and asked why? He nodded in other direction and I saw 2 polices and an ambulance speeding with their sirens on. They were speeding that they could not stop in time if I actually crossed crosswalk. I sighed in relieve and thanked him.

From now on, I always look both direction before I cross crosswalk even when the light is green.

ALSO, the other one was when I almost slipped in train railway (Sky train) If you fell in it, you'll die immediately because of the shocks. But luckily, there was handlebar next to me and I quickly grabbed it.

What about yours? Did you ever had an almost death experience?

I've never had any near death experiences, thankfully, but I guess I'll tell a story of something bad that happened to me like 2 weeks ago and where I though I may die.

So I was at home one day by myself, and my friend called me and asked me to come over to his house to hang out. I was like sure so I drove to his house and parked out front. I remembered him saying that there were some people working on his house so there were 2 big trucks in front of his house to where I couldn't even see his door. So I got out of my car and started walking past the trucks toward his front door (by the way his house is pretty small and theres no gate or anything on his front porch) and on his front porch I see these 2 freaking huge ass pitbulls laying down. I'm like "fucking shit please let them be nice." So when these dogs see me, one of the gets up on all 4 and starts growling really bad at me and his buddy sees him and gets up also. I'm like oh shit and start backing up slowly and the dogs start coming toward me. I'm like just fuck it and start running as fast as I ever have the other way and hope that they don't chase me, but what you do expect with two pitbulls sitting on an ungated porch with no leashes on. So I'm running like Adrian Peterson down his street and since it rained pretty heavily the day before, the roads and grass were all wet. As I was running I never looked back, but I could feel the dogs catching up to me and trying to push my feet every few seconds to try to knock me down. I tried looking real bad for anything I could maybe jump over but most of the houses were either ungated or the ones with gates were like 10 foot wooden pointy fences that there was no way I could reach. So I'm still running and as I see nothing in front of me to jump, I'm like, ok so these dogs are gonna fucking tear me up when they knock me over or when I fall. I had no idea what to think. So anyways I'm still running, and I get onto some wet grass and I feel my foot slipping every few feet until bam. I slip and fall and slide face first like 5-7 feet in the grass and I hear the barking dogs right there at my feet. I'm waiting to feel the pain until I look up and just see the dogs standing about 1 foot away just barking. They were just staring at me and not attacking me and I'm like wtf? I get up slowly and try walking pretty fast away again, and thankfully the dogs don't follow me anymore but still just stand there barking at me. A few minutes later I got onto another street until I couldn't see them anymore. Shit was scary as hell but thankfully they didn't attack. Anyways I called my friend and told him about the whole thing and he told me the dogs wouldn't hurt anyone so I went back to his house and when I had to cross those dogs again, I was scared as hell but when they saw me all they did was growl until my friend told them to shut up and then they went back to laying down.

Sorry if it was long, but that was (so far) the worst experience I've went through.

I have type 1 diabetes and I had a few low blood sugar "episodes." It varies from person to person, but you basically end up seizing out and blacking out for a 5-10 minute period. If you don't get sugar in that person right away, they could die very quickly. After you come to, you will have the worst headache of your life for the rest of the day. Plus every muscle in your body will be sore and aching from seizing out. It's a horrible feeling. What was worse is that I became afraid of leaving the house. I have trust issues and for good reasons. Some people do not know what to do or how to react to someone who is seizing out. I heard of a story where a trained EMT wanted to give INSULIN instead of juice. If it wasn't for the maid that made a life-saving correction, I'd never hear of this story.

this thread is so freaking funny because it is all due to stupidity , but my near death experience was when I went to the mountains during winter season and swerved out of control from the top of the mountain got to say I loved the adrenaline and didn't fear death what so ever (not being cocky btw)
