I once almost died, well not I'm not exactly sure.

I'm hard of hearing and sometimes I use hearing aid device to help me hear things a bit. One day after school, I got off transits bus, and walked cross streets. As I got over there, I had to cross again other streets and it's pretty big street. But there was few cars. Anyway, I waited for the light to turn green and it did so, there was a man next to me.

I didn't have my hearing aid on that time so I couldn't hear anything.

As usual, I'd start crossing the street but then I saw the cars weren't moving and I wondered. But I started to cross street, man next to me quickly grabbed me and pulled back. I gasped and asked why? He nodded in other direction and I saw 2 polices and an ambulance speeding with their sirens on. They were speeding that they could not stop in time if I actually crossed crosswalk. I sighed in relieve and thanked him.

From now on, I always look both direction before I cross crosswalk even when the light is green.

ALSO, the other one was when I almost slipped in train railway (Sky train) If you fell in it, you'll die immediately because of the shocks. But luckily, there was handlebar next to me and I quickly grabbed it.

What about yours? Did you ever had an almost death experience?

I was riding my bike in a trailer, and decided it would be a good idea to ride out of the side-door. It was a pretty far fall and the handlebars turned sideways in mid-fall. The handlebars jammed into my gut, rupturing my spleen. It also broke my collarbone, and my thumb. I couldn't breathe and had to be life flighted to a different hospital.

Probably the closest I have been.

I have had 2 occasion where I was less than %5 till death.
My first occasion was when I was eating a piece of meat and it happened to be a very long and thick so I started choking on it. My godfather happened to save my life by taking it out. I was scared to death.
The second occasion was when I was crossing the street and a big truck was coming towards me but I guess it didn't have brakes so it almost crashed into oncoming traffic and it swerved alot. I was so shocked I stayed still instead of running out of the way.

I would like to share my story that happened to me about 4 years ago. I was working, as a sous chef, at a restaurant in Sterling Mass. On a busy weekend after serving a buffet. We were still a little busy and receiving the left over food back into the kitchen. I grabbed a piece of roast beef, rolled it up and ate it while working.

Well, it unrolled in my larynx. I tried to swallow it and then cough it up, but neither worked. I ran out to the back where two co-workers were. They started the hemlock which didn't work either. I remember going unconscious.

After that they started mouth to mouth and pushing on my chest to keep my heart going. They couldn't get a pulse on me for several minutes until the EMT's arrived. They transported me to the hospital in Clinton Mass where I was life flighted to UMass in Worcester, where I awoke about 7 hours later in ICU, all hooked up to machines. Just before I regained consciousness, I remember this great light all around me. It was extremely bright and thought it should be hurting my eyes, but it didn't. All I felt was this great sense of being at ease and love. All the doctors were very surprised I lived and more so that I wasn't mentally off because of being without oxygen to my brain for more that several minutes.

Also of my recovery and being discharged from the hospital within 2 days of this happening. I remember being out of my body and having a sense of being relaxed and total sense of love. I came back, I believe, to fulfill a task here and to set things straight before I go back to Heaven for good.

I was driving at night on a winding road leading to the coast and was very but very dark and I had just taken my driving license few days before it so I did not have much experience to drive. Well, I was not alone It was me, my cousin and a guy friend of us (who was in the passenger seat next to me) I was very accelerating the car, and the road was very twisty and from where we were, it was possible to see the sea a level below the road like a cliff .. Well, I was driving and did not realize that i was going to hit the mountain while i was doing one of the curves, I almost hit my car in front of mountain ... was unbelievable but we all close our eyes and shout like "my god we going to die!" I thought the car was going to hit with everything on the mountain but as I opened my eyes, miraculously, we were still alive and we started to laugh and say "wow that was close"
