>I downloaded a random file and ran it. Nothing popped up, so I'm assuming that's the RAT!
How can I remove this!?!?!?
They keep controlling my computer, opening porn websites, and opening screamers

" It wasn't a "random file", I just can't reveal what file it was from a method in Elite Forums."
It was a file from a method to get free programs in Elite.
It was a random program from the method posted. The program was a Skype Resolver.
The method being downloading free things from a website where you pay to download programs.
I downloaded a random program that showed up to be useful, ran it, nothing happened, so I assumed it was the RAT.

Yeah, I guess I should have worded that better :p
And yes, I do believe that I got it sorted out. I tried the DarkComet RAT Remover made by DarkComet themselves, and it showed that I didn't have one.
I had a friend go on my computer with Team Viewer and check some stuff out. He didn't find anything. After that, I was on the verge of thinking I had removed it. I decided to look through some registry files, and when I did, I found something that I KNEW was the RAT. It ended in .DarkComet, so I'm sure that was the RAT.
I immediately deleted it, and I've been good ever since. I have a new firewall installed which monitors inbound and outbound connections, and I'm periodically watching that too.
