(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Which country do you think is the best to live in?

Please no biased answers and no answers like, "America because it's the best" or "France because I was born here," etc.

I can't answer this question simply because I have not been to every country in the world so I wouldn't know which country I would like best. It's impossible for me to say. I live in America and it's very diverse here, the most diverse in fact. The government is okay but even though it's a democracy it can feel very controlling at times. We have high taxes, we put our noses where it don't belong, and other things that are not the best. But the diversity is what sets us apart from other countries. It lets us explore different cultures first hand. Rather then through the internet or any other forms of impersonal contact. Yes we like to complain about every single president voted into office but the thing is the president doesn't make all the decisions in fact his decisions can be easily overruled. Those are just my 2 cents on the subject.

It would be very difficult for me to say since almost every country around the world is filled with people who feel they are entitled to everything and they should punish the rich and successful. I fear greatly for this planet if you continue taking this path, but that's a whole topic all together.

I'd love to live in America under Ronald Reagen, if that counts for anything Winky Winky

Can’t trickshot me!
This may sound biased but it isn't trust me. I live in Canada.

-The world's best advanced economy.
-The only G7 nation fully recovered from the global financial crisis & recession.
-The world's soundest banking system.
-The world leader in educational attainment.
-The world's most tolerant country.
-The world's friendliest nation.
-The world's most welcoming country.
-The world's top country brand rating.
-The world's best country for business.

Canada's also rated as being:

-One of the world's 10 safest countries.
-One of the world's 10 most peaceful nations.
-One of the world's 10 happiest countries.
-One of the world's 10 least corrupt nations.
-One of the world's 10 freest countries.
-One of the world's 10 lowest population densities.

Canada's insanely rich in natural resources of all sorts.
From the world's most oil - You must login or register to view this content.
To everything from silver, gold, diamonds, potash and uranium
From over 50% of the world's total number of freshwater lakes (we have 3+ million) & rivers.
To the world's largest amount of certified forest. (We have 40% of the world's certified forest area.)
And the scenery just can't be beat in what's also the world's 2nd biggest nation.

When everything is taken into account, Canada is truly the best place on Earth. Period.
But like the saying goes: haters gonna' hate.
While they're busy being jealous, other are busy being smart:

"More than half of people around the world say they would abandon their homelands and move to Canada if they could. Given the choice, 53 per cent of adults in the world's 24 leading economies said they would immigrate to Canada..."

Canada isn't that great.

-Our healthcare is horrific.
-We pay a ridiculous amount of taxes.
-We are extremely dependent on the USA for trading. I'm not sure where you got that we are fully recovered from the US financial crisis. Our debt is rising, just like the USA. We are becoming more and more socialist, just like the USA.

I'd honestly just like to point out that Canada -while still maintaining a low unemployment rate- has awful education. The public schools here can't even contend with the US. The material that we learn is nowhere near the amount of material that is being taught around the world. Don't pull up statistical information, look at the actual material that is being taught. The USA has over 300 million people, and Canada has around 33 million. If you were to multiply our debt by 10, or look at the debt per capita, you'd realize that we are not far off from the US when it comes to our economic debt.

I'm not hating, I live in Canada. But I get sick and tired of people spreading Canada is nice, Canada is awesome, everything is better in Canada crap. I can understand why it's nice to live in Canada (By the way thank the lord you didn't mention our healthcare).

But it's just that I want people to understand that Canada is by no means heaven. It really shocks me to see the huge amount of people praising Canada even though they've never been here. It's cold, and there are plenty of assholes here too.

**** my Toaster !~!
I am having a hard time answering this for a couple of reason. It all depends on the location in that country and then there are the features.

I would have to say I would stay in the United States. Simply because some states will be seeing 1-GBPS soon, they have basically no laws concerning guns and a couple states have really low crime rates.

Now if your talking in the future a little bit where rural areas have access to high speed internet then I would choose South Dakota (U.S.). Besides internet and gun freedom I want to own a bunch of land and would like snow during the winter. So I am not entirely sure which state to pick.

No one can say what the best country to live in actually is, as it's an opinion based per individual.

As the saying goes; to each their own.
