Post: Starting to Workout.

I'm starting to workout at the gym and I'm really curious if any of you have any tips or tricks for me to try or to look for. I'm new so anything that can be helpfull would be great. I have protein powder . I'm 5'7, 130 lbs.

Can someone point out a good workout plan please?

Just remember, you can't work 7 days one week and 2 the next, because that second week will ruin all the hard work of the first. Take protein, it will really help your muscles heal fast and get bigger, but if you take it and dont work out hard enough it'll make you gain fat. I would get into mma, keeps you motivated, its hard work and will help your cardio so well, thats what i do.

once my school is done in may i was thinking of joining muay thai.

so i dont need protein shakes? and what do you mean by eat? as in eat a certain type of food or just anything?

much better to get your protein from food, chicken / fish / steak etc.....
theres nothing wrong with protein shakes tho, just rather spend money on food

If your going to do the supplements your gonna wanna take a creatine mixture, and drink it throughout your workout. Then after your gonna want to have a protein shake and add glutamine to it. All glutamine does, is help your body digest and absorb proteins. You can take pre workout supplements but i found they really didn't do much, so they were a waste of money for me.

All the supplements and working out in the world won't do anything unless you get proper rest, eat properly and do a proper workout. Look online for the type of workout you want, depending if you want to loose fat, gain mass, cardio or a hybird of them all.
