I'm starting to workout at the gym and I'm really curious if any of you have any tips or tricks for me to try or to look for. I'm new so anything that can be helpfull would be great. I have protein powder . I'm 5'7, 130 lbs.

Can someone point out a good workout plan please?
Thanks!

i will post pics and update this thread.

theres nothing wrong with protein shakes tho, just rather spend money on food

Shakes are great for when you first wake up but afterwards food is better in the correct quantities at set intervals in accordance to your workout.

Also, Op. When you work out don't overwork yourself just set it enough to where you can do 10 reps, rest 9 reps, rest ect...

You will notice that the set of 90 you do and being tired will turn into 150. Work certain muscles each day don't go overboard and work each muscle in a single workout.

Keep the workouts to about 15-20 minutes (Not including resting, which should occur after each set for about 45-60 seconds).

You are looking at a 30-40 minute workout.

You can do 2 times a day and 6 days a week, with one day as a restore day.

Remember to drink lots of water. Water is important for burning down calories and fat. Also make sure you eat at consistent times. No midnight snacks.

Bodybuilding.com has everything, and I mean everything on it you need. If you can't find what you need on there, you don't belong in a gym.

If you live near ice and wanna get a workout that will get you sore for about a week, get a group together and play a game of hockey for a few hours. It's a fun but killer workout, also before and after you workout make sure you intake a couple hundred calories so you don't lose energy.

Maybe, I did mine 6 days a week, though I only did it for about 15 minutes along with cardio. Mostly cardio workout though.

Like, 20 minutes running, 15 weights, 20 minutes running. End workout.

Dropped 20lbs doing that in a month and built up muscle.
