The question I want to open for debate, is Should marijuana be legalized and is it really as bad as the media portrays it to be?
I didn't open this thread for idiotic responses, I want cold hard facts as well as any experiences that may help the topic. My personal feelings are that marijuana got black balled and it is less harmful than alcohol and cigarettes. I also feel like legalizing marijuana (in the United States) would benefit the entire nation and could potentially get us out of debt, if taxed by the IRS properly.
Please let the debate begin, and remember, no flaming or insulting anyone, this is a debate not a flame war.

I love weed make it fully legal it helps with chillin out after a looooooooooooong ass day of hard work. I already cant get in trouble for having weed even if a police officer sees me with it, I love california. and why the hell is weed illegal when tobacco and alcahol is legal our government is the stupidest at making these decsions.

I dont think we would want people that are out of their senses walking around. No offense it does not make sense to me why people do it? Like if it is to remove stress what the point of "forgetting" it for an hour, the problem will still be there. For fun uses I think thats BS, why cant you have fun without ruining your health. Again its my opinion, do not take this personal anyone.
