Post: Is noone interested in history?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I started to noticed that when I'm in the shoutbox talking about random stuff in history like World War 2 or the Romans I get ignored, is no one interested by history? I could sit and read pages and pages about the Romans and how they use to live, I love reading about the wars that Rome took part in. Their military way of thinking and tactics really fascinate me, but I never have anyone to talk to about this sorta stuff. :fa:

So no ones likes history? :(

I specifically took history at GCSE to learn more about WWII and the Cold War and Russia and Germany and stuff like. I found it pretty interesting. I don't mind talking about it, however I think most people know much more and I'll probably feel like ass when I say something wrong :fa:

I love history, it fascinates me finding things out about old civilizations and so on.. I might not know a lot on history but it's really interesting stuff, would of loved to see how everything was before this digital age.

The thing that fascinates me the most is the ocean has been explored by less than 10% think of all the history that could be found there, in that % that has been explored they've found stuff like underwater cities, rivers (sounds silly but yeah) the animals etc.

Have a little read at this, it's a prime example of the secrets the ocean stills keeps from us. :p

I'm not really interested in history now. I'm more interested in privacy and infringement of peoples rights. I get more of a kick talking and arguing about that. Also censorship and the legality of x,y or z. History was something I was interested in as a young lad though by year 10 I no longer liked it because it just became a chour rather than an interest.

It does hold history and lots of it, the English channel for example it's been proven that at one point it was land. Think of all the old fossils that could be down there. :p
