Post: Is noone interested in history?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I started to noticed that when I'm in the shoutbox talking about random stuff in history like World War 2 or the Romans I get ignored, is no one interested by history? I could sit and read pages and pages about the Romans and how they use to live, I love reading about the wars that Rome took part in. Their military way of thinking and tactics really fascinate me, but I never have anyone to talk to about this sorta stuff. :fa:

So no ones likes history? :(

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Hitler try and take over Russia even though they were allies? I guess in a way we're lucky he tried that so that they would retaliate and just ruin them.

Sorry if my knowledge is completely wrong ahaha.

Before the war started Hitler and Stalin promised not to get involved with each other affairs but then Hitler decided to invade Russia that promise was broke. People make jokes about it like, 'Never trust a man with a mustache'. But yeah Hitler invading Russia and fighting the Allies on the west at the same time helped us win the war.

It's mad, the world would be such a different place than what it is today had everything worked out completely different (obviousy), scary thought really.

Yeah it would :p cool to think about it though, when I get bored I think about what the world would be like if Hitler's master plan went through.

It's strange to think how things were back in say something like 1600s to see how life was and how it's evolved drastically over the years, its ace how people find history aswell such as artifacts etc.

The early 1800's are quite interesting, Napoleonic Era. The great war between England and France. Battle of Waterloo is fun to read about, how Napoleon could have fun the battle if it wasn't for that damn farm house. :p
