Make a poll Dirtyy

Linux!!!

Unlike most of the people that are going to post in this thread, I have tried all three. I like Linux Mint the best.

Do a barrel roll!
Linux, then Windows, then DOS, then Mac.

In that order, specifically.

I've tried all three. Windows is the most comfortable for me, and it runs the most programs.

Mac-the noob OS
Made too simple and for the noob computer user. Has a one click mouse and the GUI is too simple. Too little programs, but has some solid artsy programs like iMovie

Windows-the average user

Does what you want, runs what you want, at a cost. Pay for antivirus, the OS(more than $200), and is easy to use. I hate the fact that a virus could be running in the backround and you dont know it.

Linux-too advanced for the average user

One must learn to use the package manager, sudo/root, how to manually install using ./configure, make, make install in the terminal, the basics of where the programs are made from and run, and the whole new OS. You have to be one with the OS to love it. It can emulate a lot of Windows programs through WINE, without getting raped by viruses in the ass. Installing eyecandy is too advanced for the average user, as you have to put files in hidden files and files within /bin, /usr, etc
