Yea pretty good descriptions, but although Mac is pretty simple it gets the job done without any extra bullshit

I had Linux for over 2 years and my shitty computer simply didn't have the capacity to partition 2 OSes so in that time period I had no windows and it was AWESOMMME. I did get used to the advanced OS but it took some time and the fact that everyone just simply uses Windows as a first OS made it very hard for me to learn but I did anyways, although almost no program developers consider to make programs compatible with linux pisses me off, I'm sure if people got used to Linux they would eventually prefer it much more then other OSes no doubt. The reason I stopped using Linux is because I got a new computer and I couldn't be bothered to install it back in and deal with the ****in lack of programs.

Sweet!!

I think why people dont develop for Linux is because there is no profit involved. All programs in Linux are free for the most part(except for photoshop/other stuff ran in WINE)

I am still amazed it is updated so much for that reason. Most really good developers go to Microsoft or Macintosh simply because they can get paid 6 figures a year, while if they worked for a Linux company they would get less than half that.

I have used both Mac and Windows for a long time. I think Mac should win all the way. Linux always looked to complicated for me. Mac is much simpler and easier to get around. Not to mention that its security is 50 times better then windows or any other type of security that someone can get.

Windows has the most programs and i really got used to it, but when my laptop died i had to switch to linux. I was completely baffled at first but i eventually got used to it and it is quite good, very fast for the minimal ammunt of RAM i have. When i get a new laptop i may consider a dual boot Smile

Why judge something you didn't even try?

Exactly how complicated is Linux? Because that's one of the biggest complaints people have towards it, along with the lack of programs.

Linux Mint and Ubuntu are not that hard at all really. Just learn about sudo, and synaptic package manager and you should be fine.

Most people are like, OMG I cant install a program with only one click!! Oh woe is me! /back to Windows

More like lack of Windows programs. Linux has everything you want that Windows cant run. So maybe Windows has a lack of programsWinky Winky
