I shouldn't have to take classes like French Literature if my major is Business. That's just my personal opinion. What do you think? Should there be an hour requirement?
Your at the same point I was last year... I was pissed that I have to take a hand-full of classes which are unrelated to my degree. I seen the practicality in some of the classes available ( if I was able to get in; they were often full, leaving useless classes). I was so irate about it, that I did a research paper on the cost of college, and main argument was the cost of a higher education is ridiculous thanks to those "gen-ed" courses.
I mean the college I'm going to already costs a butt-load, could give two fucks less if I succeed ( have been a couple, instructors who cared) and finally require textbooks which are specific to the school and not the course.
