Post: Hours Requirement to Graduate

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Do you think you should have to have a certain number of hours to graduate from college? Personally I think I should have to take classes only pertaining to what my major relates to. I shouldn't have to take classes like French Literature if my major is Business. That's just my personal opinion. What do you think? Should there be an hour requirement?

I think it's a good thing that schools make you take a breadth of classes. Majoring in something doesn't mean that it's all you are going to learn. College is about new perspectives and knowledge and that's why they make you take a variety of classes.

I majored in Economics, those ancient history classes sure did pad my GPA...

AGREED! I'm on my fourth week and I've already written 5 papers.
