You talkin to me?
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Alright, so I am A Sophomore (10th grade) in Highschool. Last year I was having a lot of trouble in school... like d's c's and 1 F.

So towards the end of the school year last year, my mom called the school to see if I can get tested for classes that only like 5 people are in for like really stupid kids that don't know how to count. And if you think i'm joking i'm not. So when my mom called them and asked, they said they would work on it next school year. (this year) So now come's the time where i'm getting tested for being put in the classes, but the problem is I DON'T WANT TO GO. This year i really like my classes and teachers and lot's of my friends are in them. Also, I can grantee that i'm smarter then every kid in that class hands down. Do you guy's know any way I can get out of getting put in these classes?? PLEASE HELP ME :(

If you guys were wondering why I was doing so bad is because I was having lot's of family troubles along with A death in my family.

well if you're getting d's and c's and failing you clearly aren't as smart as you think, or else you're already in a class of retards

I could understand if you were getting Ds, Cs, and Fs on homework because you don't care to do it like I did. But you're getting them overall for your classes and I'm assuming each semester. It's really hard to be on your side if that is the performance you put out when you're trying. What also doesn't help your cause is your grammar and spelling.

And it's really hard to take your guarantee, if you catch my drift. I'm not trying to hate, I'm just trying to be realistic with you. Just take the classes, hope for the best and graduate. Maybe you can improve upon yourself this year so you can attend regular classes your senior year. Whatever you do don't skip, you'll learn things the hard way if you do.

Okay, so I made a reply before you edited the OP. Regardless, you still need to perform better in school. I've known many friends who've lost family throughout high school, not one let it get to them. They knew the minute they let it get to them their entire education would have been thrown out the door and half of them admitted that they most likely would have dropped out.

Yea, that was part of it. I just really didn't try that year because of some personal stuff that was going on. Like before that year, I did perfectly fine in school. That's the part that makes me mad..

Well I'm not surprised you're having a lot of family trouble. Your father is a raging alcoholic, your mother had a gambling problem, your older brother is a fucking menace to society and older sister is an insurable know-it-all.

Well, keep up the good work and take those placement test. If you do good enough they won't put you into remedial classes, you should also talk to your guidance counselor. You don't need to tell them the whole story, just tell him/her that you're having personal/family issues in life and that it distracted you from school. They'll be on your side and I'm sure they would help you out and make sure that you stay in non-remedial classes.
