You talkin to me?
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Alright, so I am A Sophomore (10th grade) in Highschool. Last year I was having a lot of trouble in school... like d's c's and 1 F.

So towards the end of the school year last year, my mom called the school to see if I can get tested for classes that only like 5 people are in for like really stupid kids that don't know how to count. And if you think i'm joking i'm not. So when my mom called them and asked, they said they would work on it next school year. (this year) So now come's the time where i'm getting tested for being put in the classes, but the problem is I DON'T WANT TO GO. This year i really like my classes and teachers and lot's of my friends are in them. Also, I can grantee that i'm smarter then every kid in that class hands down. Do you guy's know any way I can get out of getting put in these classes?? PLEASE HELP ME :(

If you guys were wondering why I was doing so bad is because I was having lot's of family troubles along with A death in my family.

Well I'm not surprised you're having a lot of family trouble. Your father is a raging alcoholic, your mother had a gambling problem, your older brother is a fucking menace to society and older sister is an insurable know-it-all.

lol what :vince:

Well, keep up the good work and take those placement test. If you do good enough they won't put you into remedial classes, you should also talk to your guidance counselor. You don't need to tell them the whole story, just tell him/her that you're having personal/family issues in life and that it distracted you from school. They'll be on your side and I'm sure they would help you out and make sure that you stay in non-remedial classes.

Thank you... Should I talk to her at the meeting we are having with My teachers, My parents and Me? Or privately?

I would talk to her at the meeting with your parents. Assuming that your parents are supportive, they'll also chime in on the situation. If you think she didn't get the point you can always talk to her privately in her office. That's what they are there for. Best of luck bro. :y:

Be honest with the school about what happened. Also be willing to get extra support during your current classes along with put more effort in. That my advice to you.

you should just tell your parents to fuck off and leave you alone
Or

"mom I was depressed becuase my cat died I'm sorry I was failing school, I'll do good this year Smile "

Oh dear mate, this doesnt sound good! Honestly a couple of years ago i was in this position bad grades wasn't doing well but yano the best thing i done, listen to my mum. You may think your hard done by and the worlds against you right now? Maybe it is but in the future when your finish these classes and you get your grades and yeah they may only go up by one or two grades but like my old teacher said the results reflect your hardest effort they show your achievement.

So Maggie, listen to your mum because you know what, your friends won't be around all your life? Yeah you want to enjoy your school life with friends but yano what, its not them getting C's and D's its you and your school work isnt aswell as theirs and you need to get your ass in gear and get your grades up because you want to do better than everyone in your year.

I hope you do well this year but the best advice, listen to your mum because as the saying goes "Mother knows best" and she does, no matter how clever you think you are, your mum always knows best.

Regards,
Gommy.
