Well anywho, I started smoking weed when I was about 16 because I thought I was cool, because all the older ones I hung about with did it, well anyway the first few months of smoking weed, I always said to myself "I'm not addicted, I can stop anytime". 4 years later and I was still smoking everyday. When I was 17 and going for my driving lessons etc, I could not concentrate at all because of it, It really fucked with my head and I couldn't really stop it because at that stage I was kind of craving it. But recently my mum died of a drug overdose(Wasn't weed), and since the day of her funeral I swore I would never smoke again. She died a month ago. I'm not writing this thread for sympathy, I'm writing it because even though weed can not necessarily kill you, doesn't mean It cant play games with your head. I am clean this past month, and my head feels better than ever.
Well anyway, all I'm suggesting is. If your going to smoke weed, don't smoke it everyday. As it will bring you down eventually.

Recently meaning since 2011. Hahaha.

We always have our random debates about it in the shoutbox, had one today that went on for ages, about if you can actually over-dose etc haha

People often tell that weed is not addicting. That is true in a sense, the actual drug is not addictive, but your body can become addicted to the feeling and you will be it. You will be sick if you don't have it. They still don't understand and I am just left there dumbfounded.

I did see that conversation earlier, and it was an interesting topic (although I didn't partake).

Although I've never seen that conversation/debate specifically before, marijuana/weed & drug arguments have been happening for a long time here, nothing too new!

I personally don't smoke anything, but I've always been a firm believer of what you've said. It may be "better" than other drugs, but it does have it's effects (I'm not starting an argument here on the forums, so please, to anyone who disagrees, please keep it to yourself).

Yeah I understand you fully bro! I was smoking flat thinking 'Weed isn't bad for you' then I felt myself getting sillier, also I couldn't concentrate so my grades dropped. Was a disaster, head feels so much clearer now that I've stopped!

Good for you, buddy! I can honestly say I've never smoked a cigarette, cigar, or any marijuana or any kind of drugs in my life.

You'd wana keep it that way bud, all the money you would spend on it is ridiculous too! I spent over 1k during the summer there, it's madness bro! Keep clean
