The programme's in src/ and it's called ngucoind. will be compiling for windows later. If you want to compile that'd be cool.
I made this specifically for people of nextgenupdate; so if you'd like to trade with it with people on the website that'd be cool. Or not. I'll be giving away coins too, maybe making dice games to win more coins etc. If you'd like to create a block explorer, or whatever feel free, the more stuff for it the better. Also, will be making a competition. 1000 coins for a better logo, whoever wins I'll send the coins to your wallet. download be coming soon so keep an eye out.

You know what a BitCoin is right? This is basically NGU's version of a BitCoin. Just an online/virtual currency.

Not really sure if this will be successful because we had vBuckz and that failed in the end? But if a lot used theses coins as a form of trading, I would probably use it. But at least you're trying to do something for the NGU community so you get my approvalSmile

Why do I need/want this? Is it like what vbux were? Cause I lost 10 million of those with no notice.

It's kind of like vbux in the way that it's a virtual currency but it also differs in many ways. You wound't lose the NGU coins as they would be stored on your actual computer. So unless someone hacked your computer and stole your virtual wallet, they're pretty safe. You can also mine your own using your processor so you can have as many as you desire to mine. Although it gets harder and harder to mine when more coins are in circulation.

It's really just up to personal preference on whether you decide to use them or not.

I think it's a good idea but with the average age on NGU being 12-14, I really doubt it'll go anywhere.

If it is stored on my computer, couldn't I theoretically modify my coin count manually?

No..I don't know all the technical details but I know that's not possible. At least no one has figured out how to yet. Because with BitCoins for example...1 BC = $850...if you could modify them on your PC then EVERYONE would be rich right now lol including me. It may have to do with the "wallet" verifying with the network that you truly have the amount it says you do.

Again, I don't know everything about how these currencies work..I'm sure OP knows more about it than me since he created this one haha.
