The programme's in src/ and it's called ngucoind. will be compiling for windows later. If you want to compile that'd be cool.
I made this specifically for people of nextgenupdate; so if you'd like to trade with it with people on the website that'd be cool. Or not. I'll be giving away coins too, maybe making dice games to win more coins etc. If you'd like to create a block explorer, or whatever feel free, the more stuff for it the better. Also, will be making a competition. 1000 coins for a better logo, whoever wins I'll send the coins to your wallet. download be coming soon so keep an eye out.

Personally for the hash I would have used scrypt. If for whatever reason ngucoin, as an alt coin gets big, people running gpu miners will eventually see no profits.

It will be bitcoin all over again with FPGAs and ASIC miners. Now obviously that could get expensive. Of course using scrypt is just my opinion.

Also I'll try and email some exchanges and see if they would be interested in ngucoin. Hopefully it doesn't turn into a pump and dump like other alts.

That's true. But hopefully on release NGU mine it to a difficulty where you'll need a mining pool within a few weeks. I doubt anyone's running an asic on here though apart from me (I didn't create it in sha for that reason tho' I swear.) But I'll donate most of my mined coins back in to the community or for those who try to mine but aren't gettin' very far. Hopefully this gets popular.

Because with BitCoins for example...1 BC = $850...if you could modify them on your PC then EVERYONE would be rich right now lol including me. It may have to do with the "wallet" verifying with the network that you truly have the amount it says you do.

Again, I don't know everything about how these currencies work..I'm sure OP knows more about it than me since he created this one haha.

It would never get conformations/sync with network thats why you can't edit your wallet

Nothing wrong with running an ASIC miner. But I do like the idea of giving back cryptos to the community, it definitely sets it apart from other cryptos.

If it does take off it would be cool to have an official pool to mine on seeing what happened with doge on scryptpool. That way people won't freak out about their coins getting jacked by pool owners.

Also might work on a block explorer this weekend. :p
