I write this thread here because I want to know if anyone drinks alcohol here. Another thing which could very well interest me is how much and what you drink.

You can also write your own opinion here. For example I drink alcohol because I think it is a part of life BUT I only drink sometimes when it is friday / saturday when I'm going out with friends into a disco or sth else. I'm 17 years old now and almost 18. Here in germany you can 'start' to buy it when you are 16 (beer, wine)

How are the 'rules' where you live?

used to be out pubbing and clubbing every other day, then i started full time work then that cut down to weekends then it cut down when i got bored of that to every now and then, that could be months in between.

Personally, I like water, stick to that.

I drank more when I was younger and in my teens, but now that I am 21, I really don't drink that much. Yes I do buy it for my friends and all, but I normally don't even go to party's anymore and I use to go to one every Friday and Saturday night and get shit faced. I drink a beer here and there when I go play at the casino with some buds, but that's about it.

Sometimes with friend(s) on weekends.

I drink. Its not too often as you must be 21 to buy/consume and I'm only 17. The only time I drink is on holidays, and when I'm staying the night at friends' houses. My parents say that they would be cool with me if I drank in regulation (a.k.a. under them watching me 24/7) but I don't wanna freak them out with how much I can take at once. If I drink, its usually mixed drinks, bourbon, or straight shots of bubble gum vodka (my ex-gf loves the stuff).

Rarely, 11 days til i'm 18 and can legally drink but don't feel like doing anything involving getting drunk
