(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So about 3 or 4 weeks ago I sold a PS3 on eBay to someone that was running Rebug 4.46 DEX.

About two weeks later the buyer mailed me saying that the Playstation was faulty and didn't work, even though I had tested it fully before I sent it. A week on and they have now opened a case with eBay saying that my item was not as described and is seeking a full refund or another console.

They sent back the 'faulty' console and I received it today. I plugged it in, powered it on and it worked fine. I did, however, notice something different.

Not only had the HDD cover been broken off, but the console was now running PS3ita DEX 4.50 as well as a few .pkgs installed...

At first they said the console didn't work as it powered off after 10 minutes, and now they claim that it powered off after 3-4 hours of playing it. (Keeping in mind this is a DEX console)

What should I do? I really need your help!

I don't really know how to go about this because Paypal usually favour the buyer... I think you should try both through eBay and Paypal to say that even though, it was modified that it was still working properly and therefore the buyer was lying about it being broken. You should also mention that he modified the software and wasn't how you had sent it out to him.

Hopefully that would be enough to bring whoever it is onto your side.

He probably just wanted your CID or he swapped inside your PS3 with another or something crazy like that. Also when your selling console's your meant to record it with a camera so people don't do this sort of stuff.

Write it to Ebay, you sent him a working console so there shouldn't be a problem.

When you sell something off ebay, always show as much proof as you possibly can. The more proof you have, the better Ebay or Paypal believes you.
