That's what it was doing nothing, un-till a few girls actually donated to Cancer via text message and took a screenshot of it on Facebook. It happened in a train reaction raising over 1 million pounds. Doesn't look like it did "shit all" anymore.

I seen this, I'm yet to see any of the guys from my Facebook profile donate yet. I'm more interested in the girls the sock thing is kinda revolting lol. As long as it earns money for the good cause.

No picture, like or comment will do any good for a person that is facing inevitable death. Do you want to help, why not donate a pound or two, why not move your ass and do some voluntary work? The only way to stop this ultimate killer, is to find a cure; and to find a cure, you need money! I'm not hating but it amazes me how most of these so called 'supporters' don't even stick to the damn rule! Come on, this facebook craze is NOT doing shit. These make-up-free people don't ask for donations or even link to cancer research. I find it pretty offensive because i knew someone close who died of cancer, and the fact that people think it's okay to try and use it to promote themselves is damn heartbreaking and utterly pathetic!
But hey! taking a selfie really will cure cancer and make all the agony disappear. At the end of the day, those people will still suffer, suffer and suffer. Oh god, how will i survive without my foundation and cleanser...
I remember when someone changed their profile picture to a cartoon character in order to stop child abuse. Let's all change our profile pictures to a cartoon flippin fairy and hope that all the pedophiles will magically turn into mentally stable citizens. Bravo!

I thought people were just posting a photo for a few likes using Cancer as an excuse to post another selfie. But with a majority these girls donating from £1-10 with each it is amazing. The selfies raised awareness of the charity. This means that as more people are currently aware of it, they are likely to donate, meaning the charity will raise more money.
Before this selfie for cancer thing started, a large majority of the population didn't even think of the charity, meaning they weren't going to donate.. Just short exposure in social media can have a huge affect on businesses.
I think I've made my point clear, I'm not going to reply back to you if you don't acknowledged my point.
