Yeah, i understand your argument but it does not change the fact that most of the people only do this to self promote. They don't donate or link anyone to the charity. A coin has two sides, i guess...

Before this selfie for cancer thing started, a large majority of the population didn't even think of the charity, meaning they weren't going to donate.. Just short exposure in social media can have a huge affect on businesses.
