If you haven't heard already, this story involves a 14 year old Dutch teenager who thought it would be funny to issue a terrorist-linked threat to American Airlines on Twitter.

According to the Daily Mail, the 14 year old, with a family member, walked into a Rotterdam police station. After some deliberation the Rotterdam Police decided that they did have right to arrest her, though she has not been formally charged yet.
I only hope that kids can look at this incident and realize that in this day in age, everything you say or do on the internet is sitting on a server somewhere, being read by god knows how many people, and with that there is a certain level of responsibility that you have to the content you put out there.
Frankly, to me this just sounds like a Beyond Scared Straight situation. At this point they are just making sure that kids get the message not to do this. At her age, with a good lawyer, she faces not possible jail time, in my opinion. Maybe some community service
