Hey guys, since I just figured out today that there's a gay kid in my class I'd like to ask you guys how do you feel about lesbian/gay/bi/transgender people? Here's my opinion.
I'm not 100% against it as they're all normal people, but there's a gay kid in my class and he was one of my best friends and when he told me he was gay a couple of days ago, it started being super awkward. But let's here all of your thoughts, it might change my opinion on it and it may not.
I had a very similar situation with a friend from school, back then I cared and it was awkward and I even stop talking to him. But when you get older you realise it was stupid to care and everyone is the same regardless. Well at least I did anyway.
In general I think there okay and I respect them for who they are.
What really grinds my gears is when some people hate gays/lesbians/ect. because it's against their religion. In my opinion, that's like getting mad at someone for eating a big mac because you're on a diet.
Aha yes, exactly. I'm catholic meaning it's against my religion, but I don't hate on people that are gay/lesbian or whatever because my religion frowns upon it.

Ya, maybe it's because I'm young. I'm only 13 meaning having someone in the same class that's gay is really weird. But I've got friends in high school and I asked them if there are any gay kids in there school and they say they're like best friends with people that are gay.

When you are that age things like that matter to some, but when you are older you will wonder why it ever bothered you.I lost a good friendship over it, it really isn't worth thinking about.
