A lot of kids get tried as an adult under 18, but I think if a ten year old killed someone he should go to jail for 30+ years and not get the death sentence.

How can you justify taking someone's life for taking another's?! The death penalty should only be reserved for sick bastards like Manson and Darmer, who have mass murdered with no care.

Someone here justify taking one person's life, for taking anothers? That make's you just as bad as the murderer, if not worse, as you are acting out of revenge.

Sometime the death penalty is exactly what we need, to protect the good people of society. Many people really don't deserve to live because they have committed heinous crimes beyond imaginations. Murders, rapes, etc.

Why are we letting them live? They're just stinking up the prisons and plus in prison, they will commit other crimes against other inmates too because they just don't care. They're not going to get out with "good behavior", it's too late for them so they just won't care.

Prisons should be only for people with small to medium infractions; bank robbers, murderer (not mass murderers like Manson), drug dealers, etc. Also, they should just execute gang members, like the ones that are walking around the prison yard with their chins up high like "Yeah, I killed someone; what up homie?" Those guys pissed me off.

I believe that the death penalty should be enabled, but only under extreme circumstances. For instance MASS murders, serial rapists etc.... basically people who won't change.

We do not need such a sick society in this day and age, although this is an unavoidable event throughout nature. It cannot be removed but merely reduced.
But is the answer more murder, it begins to have a horrific cycle.Like to reduced the amount of murder is to murder......im I the only one who sees this paradoxical idea....??

First of all, it's not wrong to kill a man who's murdered another, simply stated by Christ our lord himself in the bible. The Death Penalty Honors God

The death penalty was first instituted by God Himself in Genesis 9:6: "Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man."

Man didn't invent the death penalty, so man has no right to abandon it. We live in an age when everyone is far too concerned with "human rights", and God has been practically ignored, as if He had no rights at all.

Sorry, but not everyone believe's in God, so therefore base their opinions on what they themselves believe, not influenced by another. Because God says something is correct, does not mean it should be condoned.

At least I can fight
If one person has taken another persons life against their will then that persons life should be taken from them and then they should rot in hell for the crime they have committed lol... Another question that can be taken from this is, is euthanasia right ? ( Assisted Suicide )

The only problem is that some people might be framed or not have a fair trial and get killed and then be proven innocent after they have died. Over here in the U.K, if somebody kills another then that person gets life sentence which is around 13-15 ( I think ) years and can then get out with good behavior on parole in about 5-6 years. In my opinion that isn't punishment for what they have done and that is why the Death Penalty should be brought back in th U.K

I'm back for good Happy
i think its wrong. not only is it against the constitution, "right to life, liberty and property" its just messed up to kill someone. yeah he murdered someone but that doesnt mean he should also be killed. because then the people doing the death ritual thing should also die for killing another man. it should be banned everywhere

I understand what you're saying, but majority of people are Christians. I respect what ever your religion is, but for the USA we're a country under god, which means we are going to try and follow the bible. I know you're from England, but i'm just stating my religion and my beliefs. Therefore each and every one of use should respect our decisions and statements.
