I think its wrong. Thank God we dont have it here in UK.

I'm for it. Its a very unfortunate solution for a very unfortunate problem. BUT!!!! i think we shouldn't have a jury. Jury's are to easily bribed and completely obsolete. a Decision should be made on an Evidence vs Evidence basis

I think it sorta makes sense because if I kill someone.. Then maybe 40 years later I get out and kill someone else they kill them to keep them from killing other people doesn't matter if they kill some in prison, UK, Canada. It doesn't matter they should die if they did something really bad.

I don't think anyone can say when it's right or not to take someones life. Who are we to decide. But people still kill each other oh well...Killing, Raping and Killing should both be life in jail. I would bet anything that life in jail is way worse than having a needle stuck in your arm that stops your heart in seconds no pain...So it would pretty much be letting them off easy with death.

if u hang sum 1 for the death penalty the person who hanged them should get the death penalty

This. Why is it okay to kill somebody if they've killed somebody innocent? Sure, they're a murderer, but so is the "Executioner" (Or the person who gave authorisation, ect.). So, I think that the Death Penalty is wrong. Obviously, you're all entitled to your opinions, whether they are similar to mine or not.



Pretty off topic, but everybody should read Crime and Punishment. It's one of my favourite books, and whenever I have a discussion of this subject, I think of it.

it is wrong but yet right so it depends on the crime like saddam had it coming
