I'll start off.
I don't think time travel exists. Well, okay I sort of do, but I think of what everybody thinks time travel is like in Back to the Future or the Butterfly Effect where if you go back in time and fuck something up and then go back to present time and everything is fucked up there; I do not believe this is time travel, I believe this is moving from one alternate universe to another. Because what about the rest of the Earth that didn't "time travel" with you, wouldn't they notice that something has been fucked up?

My theory is that if time travel is possible, somehow the universe would have a system that is kind of like a compiler where if you have a syntax error (You fuck something up in the past) and you try to compile (go back to the present) it will catch the error and tell you your error (Push you into an alternate universe where your choice has been made)
Anyways, I'm really fucking tired right now, please tell your opinions :p troll or not idc

I think it is possible, and if the multiverse theory is true, which is kind of what you are describing with that alternate universe part, than theoretically all we would need to do is make sure that when we leave the past, we go back to our OWN universe. This would eliminate the possibility of a paradox as well since what you do in the past would create an alternate universe.
If what I just said were to hold true, you could go back in time, stop JFK's assassination, and then go back to your own universe in which he was assassinated. Ergo, no consequences for fucking with the past
Imagine how much fun humanity could have with that...
