(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I'll just start off by saying this is going to be more of a rant thread than an actual discussion on my end.*

So to give you guys a little background, out of high school I was offered a partial athletic scholarship for football. This scholarship was to a private university that was very expensive and I decided to pursue and after spending a semester/season there I figured that it wasn't for me and transferred back to a community college near home to save money and eventually transfer out. I continued to play football and I carried a 3.8 gpa where I was put on the "dean's list".. fast forward to present day and it's the time where you're hearing back from universities on whether or not you got in. I live in California and applied to 6 California universities for a Finance Major while carrying this 3.8 gpa and doing sports, which for those of you who don't know elevates you because it shows you can handle a significant workload. Today I heard back from the last school I applied to and the count ended up with 3 acceptances and 3 rejections. I was surprised because usually the people in my range get accepted to these schools. After doing some research I was astonished to see that I had friends who got into these schools who went to the same school as me who had GPA's lower than 3.2.. but here's the catch, they were all "minorities". To essentially summarize, these people got in because their race was different. They were carrying a significantly lower GPA than me and some were even missing some of their pre-requisites. I am just one example of how white people are put at a DISADVANTAGE these days. It goes from schools to jobs of almost any field simply because of color. People who talk about white privilege these days are the biggest morons because it's the exact opposite, minorities are getting special privileges that white people like me aren't able to get. Everyone talks about fairness and how it's unfair that white people get these so called "privileges", man fuck that, why is it fair that these people who don't work nearly as hard as I do get rewarded for their half ass efforts? This goes in all fields of employment as well, someone who's black or hispanic will always get priority over someone that's white simply because they need "variety" and to show they're not racist REGARDLESS of that fact that the white person is more qualified for the position.*

But yeah, sorry about the rant, I just needed to get it out as it's been bothering me for a while. Whats your opinion on this topic?

That was the whole point of this topic or can you not read? But let's address your autism really quick. Every country has done shitty stuff. Get off your high horse you libtard.

Once enough are in higher education, races that have been historically discriminated can move up in the class system and move into the middle class. Why is there a large amount of black people living in poverty, or a vast majority in prisons? Because they were discriminated against, by who? White people. You complaining about getting into a school, that you still got into, is the definition of white privilege and victimisation. While you're getting into school, having a comfy life, police have been gunning down innocent black people because they were black, and getting away with it. You're the kind of person holding back other races.

After enough time, minorities will become more educated because of programs like this, crimes will go down, salaries will go up, quality of life will go up.

Ben, your posts are literally visual cancer. This is the last time I reply to you in any sort of discussion as you've lost all possible credibility.

Uni's/Colleges don't give a fuck about students kek they care about they money they make and how good they look as a uni with diversity and shit..

You are a lil hoe

Again, you've missed the point. This thread isn't about me getting accepted or rejected, I'm just a mere single example of thousands of other people that are put in these positions. You and Ronye just can't handle a thought process that requires to look at something that's not face-value.

So basically you are assuming that they got in because of their race haha do you know it for a fact? No. Also remember not just one person accepts people into a college...and those people have different standards of who's allowed in. Also they could of gotten in because of who they know. PLEASE STOP THROWING THE RACE CARD ITS SO ANNOYING ESPECIALLY WHEN THERE'S NO PROOF.

How are you going to argue that there's no proof when there's literally a law saying minorities get priority as far as college application? How much clearer proof do you need? And like Oneup said, it's funny that as soon as a white person brings up inequality for whites that it's racist bullshit but for the past couple decades everyone that's not been white has been dropping the race card for all sorts of shit but it flies because it's "racist" to disagree with.. again it's funny how that double standard works.

Chill vato, no one was talking about illegals and hispanics. That's a whole different story. I'm keeping a level playing field and talking about legal citizens of all color: hispanic, black, native american, etc.. How does me saying that I'm better qualified, which is PROVEN ON PAPER, make me think I am better than any one else? This has nothing to do with them as people, I'm not saying hispanics or blacks are shitty people and I'm better than them because they're getting this help.. I'm saying that it's bullshit that people are trying to work for "fairness" and "equality" when is clearly evident that it isn't a level playing field at all. If I've worked harder in school, which is reflected through my GPA and classes I've taken, does that not mean that I am more qualified to get that position when compared to someone who's GPA is lower? I'd think that's just common sense..

As far as knowing people, sure, that's a fair argument but that only applies to small amount of people. Just to put it into perspective, I applied to San Diego State University and they had over 80k applications for about 7k spots. Less than 1% of those people who got there, got in through solely off of connections.

Lastly, you talked about hand outs. So you're saying I'm expecting a hand out because I'm pissed that I've outworked someone on paper and they got that opportunity that I've outworked them for? That's some of the dumbest shit I've read on here. How is it a hand out when you've out worked someone?

Ok that's fine I understand where you are coming from, just seems to be a bit ridiculous to be upset about. This doesn't prevent you from becoming a intelligent and successful person at all tbh it should motivate you to prove the Uni's who rejected you wrong.

Prove them what exactly? They cashed out when the black person applied to their school. That's all they care about.
