(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey I've been researching and it's just impossible for me. My iPod is jailbroken and all that good stuff... Got that Veency shit and it just doesn't work for me... I put in the IP address on my iPod to the program on my CPU and nothing comes up on my iPod.

Is there any other way I can just control my iPod from my computer? Phone? Anything lol.

I put a AUX cord (with the red and white :p) to my stereo so I can play it through those speakers... and well sometimes this guy is lazy to get up and change the song or whatever SO I need a way to control my iPod without actually using my iPod -.-.

Please help Smile.

I do not have remoter complete, and I just use what comes with it. So once you open the app hit "Create new Session" -> Easy Setup (should be at top) -> Uncheck the "Remoter Fusion Tab" -> Hit "Server Type" (I use VNC/ScreenSharing)-> fill in boxes that are required. I do not have the remoter complete as I said above but I assume it is way easier to set up as it says, but it requires you to download something on your computer. BTW do you have a Mac or PC?

I think we're on to something.. I got the UltraVNC viewer on my computer.. and ran it at the same time for my iPod as what you told me to do (as best I could) and my iPod hold me this "Disconnected host: IP address here Port: 5900. Refused the connection. This usually indicates the computer is not running a VNC server in the specified port. If connecting from the internet, this can also be caused by the router port forwarding not being setup properly" Fucking bullshit lol didn't think it'd be so hard! But thank you for helping me; so far! And I got a PC running Windows 7.

Well for starters I have a Mac. So it might be a little different, but I had to select sharing and select allow screen sharing. You also have to be on the same wifi network for this to work too. Windows might translate differently, im not sure. I guess you could download iAP Cracker from cydia and get the full remoter and download the program for your computer. I have heard that is really easy. Hope this helps!

What anti-virus do you have? Check your firewall settings for both windows and antivirus, if you don't know how to tell if there's a port being blocked, then turn them both off temporally and try to connect again.

Full version or different version of vnc should solve the problem. This is similar to that xlink kai problem that everyone had, xlink kai is a very old school alternative way of getting online on ps3 if you're banned or when it was down, it's not psn though. The latest version of xlink kai didn't work and the only version that worked was an older version. And if it still doesn't work for you, then you probably did something wrong with port forwarding, what router do you have? I can help if you have linksys.
