Well there's really no need for me to post, is there... considering that moose guy said all but one thing that needed to be said:
Advertising yourself/having a signature on your art = bad
Bad bad bad bad bad. Well, there is always the exception to the rule, so let me rephrase myself: advertising yourself in your art is THE WORST POSSIBLE THING YOU CAN DO unless your advertising is actually part of the art. Let me repeat that: PART OF THE ART. If you're just going to slap your name on it so people knew who made it, you're making a mistake - the canvas is there for your art, not for your own false sense of security in knowing that people will say "Graham made that piece of art, no one else" when they look upon your brilliant masterpiece of shades and brushes. The sooner you learn that everything on your canvas is part of the piece of art, the better.
Did you know that the Mona Lisa doesn't have a signature on it? When da Vinci painted it the only signature of his was a very subtle one - the Vinci plant (for which he was named) that you can see in the painting, as well as in other da Vinci works.

I voted for the B&W one, although I think the text is a bit immature and there is a lot of text scattered, it is better than the top one. I would just keep the Simplicity and Graham, put them closer together and make them a bit closer in shading, as well as a tiny border around simplicity would be a nice touch. Also, the border is a bit weird. I do like the effects and the fades going on in it, not bad for a black and white sig, although a bit of color would have been nice, maybe even for the text or a burst of color somewhere.
The top one is a bit messy, it is too bold and has too much of an unfinished feeling. It doesn't feel clean. The colors aren't very enjoyable together, try going with the flow of a few colors over several. With the blue swirl going on, it is a bit too thick and should thin out, maybe emboss it a bit too for a nice effect and continue it off the image, it looks a bit odd having both ends finish in the image with no astonishing end point. The text does not match anything else in the signature, definitely color it differently with different texture too and maybe a smaller border around it. The lighting to the left isn't bad, again maybe try similar colors. I do enjoy the effects you have going across the entire sig, they flow very well. If you can find that perfect flow, this signature can be remade much better. Also, a very clean, tiny border would be a nice touch! Nice effort, just clean it up a bit and it should be much better.
