Post: EBOOT fix for a game? Help?
04-13-2015, 01:55 AM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); My issue:
Trying to play Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition (EUR) on internal drive but I keep getting a blank screen after I load the game and then press START on the start menu.

How you apparently solve it:
You have to apparently change the eboot? I'm not sure I don't really know if this is how you do it.

Do I actually just need to get an eboot fix and replace it? Or is there something else? Also, does anyone have an eboot fix for Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition (EUR) because I've searched for 2 hours and all of the links are dead :(

Thanks.

I'm on Rogero 4.55 CEX spoofed to 4.60 - does spoofing count?

Again, thanks a lot!

Dude, you are the best! I really appreciate this man. Thanks a lot bud!
I'll let you know if the problem persists.

Also, I was wandering, how did you fix the eboot? What program did you use? Etc.

Many thanks bro!

pc program called scetool, if there are any other files that have the extension sprx in the game then they will also need patching.

Okay this guide tells me to do this for the eboot fix thing:
1. Rip your copy of Dragon Age Ultimate Edition and store on your internal or external drive.
2. FTP or copy your game over to your PC.
3. Download the 3.41 Modded EBOOT from MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service (as posted in You must login or register to view this content. (EBOOT.bin repository))
4. Move your original EBOOT.BIN (and eclipse.self - if ya a "shiver-me-timbers" ) to a safe place.
5. Extract 3.41 Modded EBOOT.BIN into USRDIR
6. Get a copy of Multiman 1.5.05 from Free File Hosting, Online Storage &amp File Upload with FileServe - You won't need the Multiman to run, just need the EBOOT Fix from the archieve. extract it onto your PC.
7. Open up the EBOOT Fix Directory and then drag your PS3_GAME directory over the ebootFIX.exe file.
8. Let Multiman Eboot Fix do its magic. When it finished you will have 2 lovely pkg files to choose from (one signed for 3.55, the other not signed for Waninkoko/3.41)
9. Before you install the PKG, load multiman on your PS3 and enter the File Manager (where you can view the directories of your HDD).
10. On the file manager browse to your GAMES directory on dev_hdd0 (will either be GAMES/GAMEZ/BDRIP etc, whatever you originally chose).
11. In your BLES01076 directory, highlight PS3_GAME and click your R3 button. This will create a shadow-copy (aka links) into a special ID folder (dev_hdd0/G/).
12. Once completed, exit Multiman and install your PKG file which you made earlier.
13. Run it and See.

Obviously, the link they have provided is dead and I can't find it anywhere, and so I posted a new thread about it.

But anyway, how do I use the EBOOT you gave me and apply to his instructions? Is it the same? His modded eboot and the one you gave me?

Also, he says something about the file called: eclipse.self
Do I need to do anything to that?

BTW, there's another ISO file called 'singleplayer.cif' and it's got the same ISO icon as the EBOOT, do I need to patch that?

Sorry for so many questions.

i beleive the "modded" aspect of the eboot they are referring to is simply it being patched to work on different firmwares. i dont think they are meaning its modded for cheats.

difference firmware versions used different keys to encrypt the eboot.bin files you need to match the encryption to the key your firmware uses and thats what scetool does.

singleplayer.cif - no.

eclipse.self - probably needs patching too.. upload that file.
