I have to agree with Lovol on this one. There is a very fine line between doing very little and ripping. This is in my eyes a rip. Maybe not intentional, but changing the background and adding text isn't doing anything. 3 layers for this at the most.

He's ripping because he only added 3 layers (not that number of layers matter).
1 for a photo filter and 2 for text...that's all.
The person who originally made this had to render all photos and edit them to look like they were evolving.
That's like me taking your work and throwing a photo filter on it, removing your name and calling it my own. It's usually called piracy in the real world.

It's a permissible image (that isn't the original. i've seen multiple edits of it on the internet doing a reverse image search), which you're allowed to use however you want. I've seen multiple tags on Planetrenders which were just simple color corrections and yet they were allowed as sotw entries, because it isn't ripping, as long as it's a permissible image.
& how 'bout these entries from the past sotw; (nothing against the creators, just examples)
