There may be more pixels but keep in mind the screen size is larger. I think they're usually like 27" and the 1080p monitors start at like 21" or 22".

So? Who cares that it's 27 inches? The fact of the matter is I think you're trying to get at PPI when in fact the 27" 1440p monitor has a higher PPI and more screen real estate because of it.

Okay. I'm not trying to argue with you. Get want you want. If I had $1500 to blow I might get 3 1440p monitors too. BTW the human eye can only see up to about 300 ppi.

Well I made some upgrades to my build so I thought I'd put it up here. I did a little case modding too. I cut out a bigger window and the other window where the fans go I painted black.
New Specs
Case- NZXT Phantom
Motherboard- MSI Z77 Mpower
CPU- Intel Core i7 3770k 3.5GHz Overclocked to 4.2Ghz, 1.28 Vcore stable
GPU- 2x EVGA GTX 680 4GB OC GPU Offset clock 100Mhz, OC Memory Offset 350Mhz
RAM- G.Skill Value series 16GB (4GBx4) 1333 OC to 1800 11-11-11-25 timings
PSU- Seasonic X-850
HDD's- Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200RPM (Windows 7 OS), WD 250GB (Windows 8 OS), 500GB Hitachi (back ups), Toshiba 160GB (more back up)
Custom Liquid Cooling Parts:
CPU water block- Swiftech Apogee HD
GPU water block- 2x XSPC Razor New Style GTX 680
RAM water block- XSPC Universal water cooling heatspreaders and water block
Pump- Swiftech MCP655 variable speed with G1/4" tapped threads
Reservoir- Phobya single bay res
Radiator- Magicool Extreme Dual 140mm radiator
Radiator 2- Alphacool NexXxos ST30 Single 120mm
Tubing- Danger Den DreamFlex
XSPC Compression fittings
Fluid- EK EKoolant Premium Premix Coolant

(3) 20" Dell Professional 2009w monitors
Steel series mouse
CM Storm quick fire rapid mechanical keyboard

With the computer, all the liquid cooling hardware, my monitors and a triple monitor mount, my new keyboard and a mouse it cost me like $3500.

Oh. That's not bad at all... Thought it'll be over 5,000$. All in all i think that's a pretty decent price & i'm sure your satisfied with it.

Yeah I'm happy with it. Playing games in surround is pretty bad ass.
