(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi guys, could some1 explain me why ppl prefere to spend 309$ on a Intel Core i7-3770K, that has 4 cores at 3.5ghz than an AMD FX-8350 with 8 cores at 4ghz? I know ppl prefere intel instead amd cpu, but would be really change? what about performance betwen those cpu? Are there other information that i should know in attion to Cores and CPU Speed? Happy
Thx in advance for reply, Cya!

I really hope AMD does well with their next CPU's and GPU's. A less competitive market is bad for consumers. I hope AMD and Intel are neck and neck with their next CPU lineup. That would put pressure on Intel and hopefully it will become a more competitive market. If AMD puts most of their focus on enthusiast level CPU's I think they could do well against Intel.

If you want to play pretty much every game on ultra/high at 1080p resolution and get 80+ FPS I'd get a 7970 or GTX 680.

Well in know ppl that with Crysis 3 on ultra with the 690, still can drop less than 60fps. also on bf3, one gtx can t have a stable 80fps without dropping less than 60. I KNOW IT S NOT BAD FOR A VIDEOCARD. however i would be pissed ofF if i get now a 680 for 400$, when maybe the new serie of gtx coming in months will be much much better for the same price.

I would probably wait till the GTX 780 but if you need a GPU now get a 7970 ot GTX 680. They will be able to play most games on ultra with FPS above 60 except for maybe Crysis 3.
