No, it's not a shocker: Activision has this evening confirmed that a new Call of Duty title will hit later this year.

Yeah i know the COD4 engine is the same as WaW.. but as this is about Treyarch's new game... i figured i would say WaW.
I hope they learn from thier mistakes and hope they dont copy MW2 in every aspect like the killstreaks

I loved Waw and still do. Very solid game. Only a few flaws like bad spawns and the mp40. Waw is a lot better than MW2.

I wouldn't go as far as to say it is better than MW2 because I REALLY hated WaW. MP40 and spawns were problems, but the thing that really ruined it was tanks. Betties were also impossible to get around, atleast claymores only blow up in front so it is possible to run by them or atleast stun them. Not betties, 360 degrees of explosion.
I couldn't play headquarters or anything as I'd get blown up by a tank or walk into randomly placed over powered betties.

the spawns were sooo much better in W@W than mw2 though... i always get spawnkilled in mw2 its terrible

All they have to do is release a BETA and have a good testing period... and give a copy to HSx9 and other modders to Mod the hell out of then patch it all..
Notice W@W had a good Beta and there are no mods or good glitches? ( apart from tenth prestige) ...
Hopefully will be good if they take the good from COD4 and the good ( what there is) from MW2 should make an amazing game.

betas help alot and you would have thoughgt that iw would put one in for mw2 like they did for cod 4 (im pretty sure they did a beta) and so did they for w@w but giving a copy to HSx9 wouldnt help them at all.... he just would release it after they release the final vesion and then hacks would be out even earlier... but some glitching website i heeard got copys of MW2 early to find glitches

i like the spawn in W@W when playing people who are pro. but when i'm playing with my friends in pub rooms like the the MW2 spawn because we can spawn camp the hell out of anyone. its kinda funny to do, but not to go against. i'm going to stick to cod4 and W@W over the next while

treyarch did a few good games, but CO
waw was the only cod i dont have, as it didnt appeal to me to much, and i dont think i missed out on too much apart from nazi zombies.
